            AKKAM RESEARCH SERVICES, S.L. is a company incorporated in Spain, located in the city of Madrid and registered at the Commercial Register of Madrid under Volume 17,521, Volumen C, Folio 179, Section E, page M-301043.

            The corporate purpose of the company is to provide language and business services on a global basis, facilitating European companies access to Middle East markets and providing assistance to Arab companies investing in Spain. Since its incorporation in the year 2000, AKKAM has delivered more than 10,000 projects in the areas of translation, interpreting, editing, organization of conferences and other events, including legal assistance in judicial and arbitration proceedings and management of large-scale projects in different jurisdictions. All documents which require to be translated in order to be enforceable in other states are submitted to our team of certified translators authorised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

            In the year 2007, AKKAM and INTERLINCO entered into a joint-venture agreement which has allowed both companies to consolidate their position in the market of specialised translation and interpretation focused on legal and financial documents and in providing global business services for international firms and companies listed in the Spanish (IBEX 35) Stock Market as well as governmental agencies and organizations.

            Through its brand, AKKAM AL-WAFA, offers specialised services for companies operating in or from most countries in the Middle East. These services include translation into Arabic or viceversa of legal and financial documents, support for tenders and public bids, assistance in commercial negotiations, selection of local experts for specific projects, legal assistance in investment transactions and legalisation of all documents issued from Arab countries to be filed in Spain or which must be submitted to jurisdictions subject to Islamic law.

Professor of International Relations (Middle East) at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. Professor of Comparative and Business Law at post-graduate level (UPC). Certified translator before the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Author of a number of books and specialised publications on the Middle East and diplomatic relations between Europe and Iran. Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Persian and Arabic.

Eduardo Sánchez-Cervera. Degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Degree in Business Management from the Autonoma University of Madrid. Attorney-at-law. Professor of Commercial and Criminal Law at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas de Madrid (Spain).
